THE SOUL OF UGANDA
Uganda stays with you in quiet ways.
In the silver mist above Bwindi. In the sound of hippos outside your tent at night. In the long red roads that lead from savannah plains to mountain forests. This is a journey shaped by raw beauty, warm people, and moments that feel completely untouched by the modern world. Track gorillas through ancient rainforest, watch elephants cross the Kazinga Channel at sunset, search for tree-climbing lions in Ishasha, and follow the source of the Nile through the heart of East Africa. This is not a rushed safari. It is Uganda at its real pace — wild, soulful, and unforgettable.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive in Uganda and transfer to your lakeside hotel near Lake Victoria. Depending on arrival time, relax after your international flight or enjoy a sunset by the water before your safari begins.
Day 2
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Murchison Falls
Begin the journey north with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot — the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen.Continue toward Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in time to visit the top of the falls where the Nile forces itself through a narrow rock gorge before crashing below.
Day 3
Murchison Falls Safari & Nile Boat Cruise
Start the morning with a game drive across the northern savannah in search of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, antelope, and hyenas. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls. Expect hippos, crocodiles, elephants along the shoreline, and incredible birdlife throughout the cruise.
Day 4
Scenic Transfer to Kibale Forest
Leave the savannah behind and travel south through rural Uganda toward the lush rainforests of Kibale. The landscapes slowly transform into tea plantations, crater lakes, and green rolling hills.Arrive at your forest lodge surrounded by tropical jungle and birdlife.
Day 5
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Enter Kibale Forest with experienced trackers in search of wild chimpanzees. The forest is alive with sounds of primates, birds, and ancient trees while chimps swing through the canopy overhead. After the trek, relax at the lodge or explore nearby crater lakes and local communities.
Day 6
Queen Elizabeth National Park & Kazinga Channel
Continue south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife regions.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel where huge concentrations of hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, and elephants gather along the water.
Day 7
Ishasha Sector & Tree-Climbing Lions
Travel through the remote Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions often seen resting in giant fig trees. This region feels quieter and wilder than most safari parks in East Africa and offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. Continue toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Day 8
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is the emotional highlight of the journey. After an early briefing, trek through the dense mountain rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Time spent with the gorillas is limited, but the experience is unforgettable — watching them interact quietly in their natural habitat is unlike anything else in Africa. Return to the lodge for a relaxed evening in the mountains.
Day 9
Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation
After days of adventure, travel to Lake Bunyonyi — one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Uganda.
Surrounded by terraced hills and scattered islands, this is the perfect place to slow down, kayak, swim, or simply enjoy the scenery.

Accommodation Experience
Sleep where the safari actually feels alive. Wake up to buffalo outside camp in Queen Elizabeth, hear hippos after dark near the Kazinga Channel, and drink coffee overlooking the misty hills around Bwindi before gorilla trekking begins. The lodges on this journey are not giant tourist hotels. They are small safari properties chosen for atmosphere, views, and location inside the experience itself — places where the fire stays burning at night, and the wilderness never feels far away.
